Vehicle Description
There are plenty of Mopars that like to wow you with their
outrageous presentation, but this 1972 Plymouth Satellite Sebring
Plus goes in a different direction. Quite period-correct, including
its original V8, this is true nostalgia on wheels.
Fiesta Green Poly is a great factory-correct color on a 1970s
classic like this. After all, it represents the era correctly.
There has been a respray later in life. So it has a nice glow in
the sunlight, but it doesn't lose the look and feel of originality.
This was built right before the bumper laws dictated style, and so
you have some of the most impressive ones ever put on a car. Up
front the chrome king surrounds the grille and frames the
headlights, and in the rear, it's expertly integrated into the
design on the sheetmetal and taillights. The Sebring Plus was the
true top of the style and price ladder (even more expensive than a
Road Runner.) So it has a terrific vintage upscale look with the
half vinyl roof and the trim line that runs the full length while
rolling over the wheel arches. Even the upgraded American Racing
Torq Thrust wheels are a nice classic piece that give this a
premium look without jeopardizing the vintage feel.
More of that cool 1970s appeal happens when you open the door. The
highly-stylized split bench seat has durable green vinyl, a nice
stitching pattern, and even comfortable cloth inserts for where you
sit. It's the right mix of vintage and proper replacements so that
it's complete and feels nice. You'll love all the correct features
from the factory three-spoke steering wheel to the ultra-wide
speedometer. These might have been Plymouth's intermediate coupes
back in the day, but today that means spacious seating up to six.
And since this will be great for family and friends, you have some
worthwhile upgrades. Some are subtler, like the provisions for
R134a air conditioning. The AM/FM/CD stereo w/aux input for your
iPod is a bit more obvious, but after all, an all-day classic
cruiser like this deserves modern driving tunes.
In a coupe this 70s-correct it's great to see the numbers-matching
motor under the hood. More than just the original 318 cubic-inch
V8, it has all the right details like the light blue block and
stock components. But you can also see by the fresh fundamentals
like the belts, wires, and hoses that this has received proper
maintenance. This motor is all about smoothness and torque, making
it the perfect vintage cruiser. Plus, with a three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and power brakes with discs up front,
you'll truly have an easy time behind the wheel. There's even
cruise control on this vintage premium Mopar!
Striking and interesting, this one gives you all the right upgrades
within a vintage package to truly enjoy classic motoring. So when
something this appealing is also so nicely priced, you know you
need to hurry to grab this deal. Call today!!!
