I am considering parting with my 68 Skylark Custom. Great car but I
would prefer to move my attention to a truck at this point. It's a
1968 Skylark Custom with factory 4bb 350, rebuilt turbo 350 that
replaced the factory 2 speed power glide, and a 12 bolt posi with
3:55 gear to replace the factory 10 bolt. Runs good but could
probably use some valve guide seals soon and a carb rebuild. The
dipstick for the trans is slightly tweaked due to coming from the
donor car of the turbo 350 vs the factory stick for the 2 speed, so
it leaks at the base on occasion. The speedo is also not hooked up
because the speedo drive gear needs to be changed out for the right
ratio for the 350 trans and lower rear end gear. Passenger front
tire has also developed a knot due to the age of the tires. Power
drum brakes, power steering, ac all works. Exterior and interior in
great shape as well. Car is a driver as it sits with the
recommendation of a new set of tires, the rest are small things
that could be addressed over a weekend. In addition I do have a set
of tan bucket seats and console out of a GS I intended to restore
and make the car a GS clone as well as a low mileage 430 out of a
69 Electra that I was going to put new rings and bearings and badge
as a 400. Also have a rebuilt 200R4 overdrive trans with shift kit
and stall converter for the swap. Please contact us for location
