First- and second-generation Corvettes were one of the first true collectible cars of the modern era, and collecting Corvettes remains a global phenomenon. More than just another two-seat sports car, the Vette is an American icon. There's a good reason it's often referred to as America's sports car.

For Consignment we offer a 1985 version of America's sports car. A powerful 350ci L98 V8 engine, and mostly original car for the taking.

Exterior
All clean white fiberglass in good condition. Some dulling in the paint, however mostly unremarkable, are noted. Dual electric controlled sport mirrors, and a smoked glass lift off roof panel is seen. Aluminum wheels and radials are bolted on all 4 corners. Hidden headlights perform flawlessly.

Interior
Red leather racing inspired bucket seats, with power-controlled adjustments grace the inside of this Vette. A digital driver information system is seen on the 80's square design dash. The center console includes the automatic shifter, window buttons, and a mirror controller. A key fob remote access button will get you into the rear storage area that has enough room to house the removable glass targa top. Consigner states the targa top leaks, and the radio is inoperable. Deep red carpeting appears in nice condition and is covered with floor mats in black.

Drivetrain
An original 350ci L98 V8 can be viewed within a clean engine bay with the flip of the hood. Bolted on back is a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Noted is this car has been fitted with a 3.07 G92 performance axle package.

Undercarriage
Clean and rust free and has been recently given the once over. A C4 Suspension is seen, and all is buttoned up on the structural side.

Overall a clean Corvette, a quick starter, smooth shifter, and plenty of power keep true to the 'Vette legacy of America's Sports Car.
