1971 deluxe window bus. Best of the Bays, in my opinion. Last year for type 1 motor. Found 10 years ago in Santa Fe New Mexico. The bus was rust free.

Everything to lower it from Wagenswest.
Replaced Ball joints, parking brake cables, all the brake hoses, rear brake shoes, rear brake backing plates and hardware, repack front wheel bearings, repack and replace CVboots, new brake master cylinder.
Wheels are Empi 911, Fuch style wheels with 175-65/15 tires in the front and 185-65/15 oin the rear.

1904cc 74 x 90.5. Aluminum case full flow. 74mm crank. Mahle 90.5 pistons. VW 1.1 Rockers. CB Perforomance 2280 "cheater" cam. Dual Weber 40 IDF Carburetors with CSP Bellcrank Linkage. Vintage Speed VW BUS stainless exhaust.
Interior:
The interior has laminate wood flooring. It has a Westy bed and jump seat. Cabinets are custom built. The cushions are covered in Sunbrella fabric.[this is fabric they use on high dollar indoor/outdoor furniture. It has birch side and door panels. Steel dash customized to fit.
Exterior:
Roof rack by Custom Auto Racks.
Overall a very cool early Bay. It is not perfect, has normal scratches and small dings. It is a daily driver and has won a lot of awards and gets a lot of attention. It is ready to enjoy, drive, show and camp.
I'm not in a position where I have to sell my Bus. I am just ready to move on to another project.
