2nd owner since 1986, has not seen a winter since 1988. Excellent condition, Metallic Light Blue, Cragar SST Rims, 80,800 current miles. This car was rust proofed by the original owner at a Ziebart in Canton Ohio, and still has cosmoline dribbling out of some of the seams on a hot day. Trunk is in excellent condition, doors do not sag… at all. This car was painted in 1988, pics seen here are current.
All engine work was performed by a reputable race shop in 1989, the engine in its current configuration has 41K miles on it.
This vehicle still has the original rear end and gears, 2.73 ratio, it is a wonderful cruiser, and has not been raced. Runs great on premium gasoline, no race fuels or octane boosts are required.
Contains original engine block with matching numbers: 350 high performance block bored .030 over, 10:1 pistons, Dart II ported heads, high capacity oil pan, high volume/pressure oil pump, Edelbrock Torker 2 camshaft and aluminum intake manifold package. Edelbrock 750 carb, Holley electric fuel pump, Cyclone headers. Edelbrock advertises this package at 1.2 horsepower per cubic inch, equaling +/-426 horsepower. Custom dual exhaust with stainless California Turbo mufflers, chrome resonators provide a low even growl.
Contains original transmission: TH350, rebuilt in 1989 by race shop, B&M stall converter, 3,000 stall, B&M shift kit, Hurst ratchet shifter in console. Original console shifter comes with car and can be easily swapped by removing the stainless panel currently in the console with just a couple screws.
Original rims, and caps, also come with this car. Vintage Stewart Warner gauges currently installed comes with car, easily un-installed if not desired.
