1954 Buick Roadmaster (Model 76C): As a postwar United States
entered a new era of prosperity, Americans flocked to GM's Motorama
and showrooms to see what was new. Buick was at the leading edge of
design at the time and the division did not disappoint for the 1954
model year with the beautiful new Roadmaster Convertible. This was
a new car that was offered as separate model from its sibling
Skylark Convertible that debuted one year earlier. Engineered with
a 322 CI OHV Fireball V-8 engine, which would power full-size
Buicks from 1953 to 1970 and was better known as the "Nailhead,"
the big convertible featured an innovative Dynaflow automatic
transmission and power steering. The beautiful example offered here
today is one of only 3,305 produced in 1954. It underwent a
professional rotisserie restoration to new condition which was
completed in late January, 2014. With excellent care and minimal
use, this Roadmaster has seen less than 90 miles of asphalt since
completion and still shows extremely well. It features a numbers
matching drivetrain and several power options including; power
antenna, power seats, power top, and power windows. The original
date-coded rims have also been restored and are included with this
purchase. The complete list of options and equipment include; GM
Buick 322ci Fireball V8, GM Twin Turbine Dynaflow Automatic
Transmission, Dual Bullet Tail Tights, Power Brakes, Power
Steering, Original AM Radio (working), Working gauges, Heater and
Defroster, Tinted Glass, Car Cover, Convertible Boot, Owners
Manual, Tire Tools, Full Spare, Deluxe True Spoke 15" Wheels, NEW
Coker Classic Wide Whitewall Tires! Contact us any time via email,
text or cell to discuss further.
