Own a cover car! This car is on the cover of, and featured within the September 2019 Mustang Monthly magazine, and featured in Fatman Fab ads. Fresh original 302, new alum radiator and electric fan. Fatman Strut IFS with Airride 4 bar rear on the original 8" 3.00 ratio open gear. Four wheel Power wheel disc brakes with Colorado Custom billet wheels and matching steering wheel. All Pro built rotisserie restoration with NOS hood, decklid and doors, very solid body to begin with. Many custom details best seen in the magazine article. The underside does show some road use but was a bare metal rotisserie restoration. Paint is excellent with only a couple short stress cracks around the rear decklid opening as is common on Mustangs. A proven road car that turns heads.
Custom body features include a custom Shelby-esque front valance with filled turn signal lights, in steel, 2003 Taurus grill emblem, LED turn/park lights flush fit in rechromed front bumper. GT hood with working turn indicators. Billet outside mirrors and shaved handles electrically operated by remote on NOS doors. Rear bumper custom plated and brackets sectioned to tighten gaps. NOS decklid has Sportsroof type spoiler with fender endcaps molded to the quarters. Fuel filler moved to corner of decklid outside the gasket for no cabin odor.
The original 302 and C-4 trans are freshly rebuilt with Ford chrome accessories. Runs strong and cool. Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb, Pertronoix igntion conversion. Engine bay has triangulated chrome bracing. Chrome booster and master cylinder. Special one wire alternator and starter with mounted solenoid to clean up engine bay wiring. Battery moved to trunk with upholstered panels covering it and the Airride system.
Interior has a completely customized panel with 6 Classic gauges. Ididit tilt column with Colorado Custom wheel matching the road wheels. Surefit Vintage Air system, AC cold but I did not bother hooking up heat as this is strictly used as a summer driver. Vinyl and simulated leather suede inserts. New vinyl top and nice fitting boot. Trunk fully upholstered.
