Let's start with important items. This is a one owner car. We have
the ORIGINAL title and the ORIGINAL bill of sale, along with
factory brochures and owner's manual! As we understand, this well
preserved example has not been restored and is in very good
condition. The miles showing, 78,026, are believed to be
accurate.
R&H Motorcar Group is proud to offer this exciting example, a
1968 Shelby Cobra GT 350. Ford Motor Company said of this car,
"Carroll Shelby has worked a bit of racing car magic on the Ford
Mustang." Further calling it "a true road performer that rivals
Europe's finest limited-production cars but for thousands of
dollars less."
As you might imagine, a car of this account is a little less than
showroom condition. The paint shows a slight patina of aging
gracefully. The top is free of any tears or significant wear. The
10-spoke wheels are in very respectable condition. The chrome
mirrors nicely while the glass and lenses are crisp and clear.
Panels and gaps are looking spot on.
Under the famous hood you'll find a 302 ci V-8. The power plant
puts out 250 horses with the help of hydraulic valve lifters, a
high volume intake, and 4 bbl carburetor.
Inside the cabin you'll find a tilt away steering wheel that
functions perfectly. Have a look at the photos. You'll notice that
the interior is in very good condition. The inside door panels,
dash, and seating are free of any major defects. Even the AM radio
is ready to play some of your favorite tunes.
