This clean Ford Galaxie 500 2dr. sedan is one of those nostalgic
cars that bring back memories. It has a 289 V-8 for a little more
performance with an automatic shifter. Not a big block that's hard
on fuel, this was a more thrifty-minded individual's grocery
getter. Nicely redone with newer paint, new interior and the
rebuilt engine gone through about 5k miles ago, it runs sweet.
Hardtops were sometimes noisy and drafty. This sedan is solid and
Ford sold lots of them. Solid South Dakota history and shows no
signs of rust or damage. To find one in this fine condition is
getting more difficult as time goes on. This is a great entry level
car that one can jump in and drive. Bring it to the local car show
and odds are you won't see another one there! A great value for a
classic Ford 2 door that runs like it did in 1964.
