This 1941 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible is a show quality pre-war car that has undergone a complete frame off restoration. The '41 Fords featured new stylings including the 3-piece grille. Additionally, the rounder and curvier body led to a roomier, more comfortable interior. This particular 41' Ford was previously owned by famed local collector, Don Sears. Those who knew Don, or more importantly, his cars, know that they are of excellent quality. Under the hood on this Super Deluxe is a 221 Cubic Inch Ford Flathead V8 motor, otherwise known as the "Ford Flatty," mated to a 3-speed column mounted manual transmission. The fuel system on this Ford has been gone through with the single 2-barrel carburetor being recently rebuilt and with the fuel pump being recently replaced. This '41 Ford Super Deluxe sits on 4 whitewall bias-ply tires with period correct 16" pressed steel drop center rim wheels. This pre-war Ford is finished in Beautiful black paint that shows particularly well. The chrome and brightwork on this Ford are also a major highlight of this car because of the excellent quality of the finishes. The chrome bumpers on this Ford also have the optional front and rear bumper guards, which at the time cost $3.50 and $2.50 respectively. The Black Cloth Power Convertible Top goes up and down with the simple push of a button. The interior of this 1941 Ford is also in spectacular, show-worthy condition. The red leather bench seat interior is in excellent shape and appears as it did when it rolled of the factory floor. The dash and steering wheel also appear to be stock and are in excellent condition.
