This 1951 Mercury woodie wagon reportedly originated in California,
and it is one of 3,812 built for the model's final year. A previous
owner had the car restored in Long Beach, California at a reported
cost of more than $125k, and the selling dealer acquired it from a
collector in Atlanta in 2019. The car has been repainted in black
with refinished exterior wood over a red leather interior. Power is
provided by a 255ci flathead V8 backed by a column-shifted
three-speed manual transmission, and an electric radiator fan and
an aftermarket temperature gauge have been added. The selling
dealer performed an oil change and lubrication service and also had
the vehicle detailed. This Mercury Eight station wagon is now
offered with an owner's manual, a period sales brochure, and a
clean Florida title. This listing is live now, and only for 7 days,
