STK 2631 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
When Ford's SVT group entered into a new business relationship with
Carroll Shelby in 2006 the result was the next generation Shelby
Mustang. The 2007 Mustang Shelby GT500 provided performance that
was unmatched by any previous Ford Mustang. This 2007 Shelby GT500
has been very carefully maintained and includes a Certificate of
Authenticity from Shelby American, Inc. The original Torch Red
exterior, accented by GT stripes and carbon fiber hood, is in
excellent condition. Wheels are Shelby CS40 alloy rims - 20x9"f and
20x10" rear. (Only 10,800 GT500s were produced for 2007, of those
just over 2,000 were finished in Red and only 211 were Red w/Silver
stripes.) The Shelby is powered by Ford's 5.4L DOHC supercharged V8
that in stock trim produced 500bhp and 480 lb/ft of torque. East
Coast Mustangs, Travelers Rest SC, reworked this factory motor with
a VMP TVS 2.3 Supercharger, Steeda Throttle Body/Cold-Air Intake
and SCT Tuner. The result of these outstanding mods is a 5.4 with
711bhp. It is backed by a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission, RXT
twin disc clutch, Hurst shifter and 3.31:1 limited slip
differential. The chassis is equipped with factory ABS 4-wheel
power disc brakes (with Brembo vented 14.0/11.8 discs) linked to
Traction Control. Factory suspension components include MacPherson
front struts, HD front stabilizer bar, tower support, solid rear
axle w/3-link suspension, panhard bar and rear stabilizer bar. This
'Hoss' is also fitted with a Steeda adjustable suspension package.
The factory black leather interior is in excellent condition with a
host of safety and convenience features including: front/side
airbags, A/C, power seats, power tinted windows, tilt wheel, power
locks, cruise, anti-theft alarm, keyless entry and an AM/FM/CD
changer sound system. This is a Mustang Shelby GT500 to drive and
