The second-generation Camaro was produced from 1970 to 1981. It was
longer, lower and wider than the first-generation and utilized a
redesigned A-arm/coil spring front suspension along with rear leaf
springs to improve both handling and ride comfort. This frame-off
restored 1971 Camaro (2018) has been impeccably detailed and we
have received documentation that it is in fact a true Z28 Rally
Sport. A beautiful new coat of Mulsanne Blue (original color) is
accented with Z-28 stripes/badges, distinctive RS front grill
features, split bumpers, front air dam, rear deck spoiler and
factory Z-28 wheels. Per the trim tag, the restored black vinyl
interior is the correct code (775) for the Camaro and is fitted
with center console, tinted windows, factory gauge package, tilt
wheel and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. Horsepower is provided by a
350ci LT-1/330bhp small-block built by H&F Performance. The
block casting number is correct, but it appears that the cylinder
heads and exhaust manifolds have been changed. Torque is delivered
via a 4-speed Muncie manual transmission w/Hurst Competition+
shifter to a posi-tractionf differential with 3.73:1 gearing.
H&F Performance also rebuilt the trans and differential. The
coupe has a great stance on Z-28 wheels with Goodyear Polyglass
F60x15" bias ply tires. This sharp Camaro is a head turner and a
fun driving experience. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
