The Mercedes Benz 190 sedan, model W121, was introduced in 1956 and
production ran for 5 model years. This 1961 Mercedes 190B has been
in the possession of the current owner for the last 43 years. It
has been partially restored, but overall should considered a
work-in-progress 'project' vehicle. The sedan's body was repainted
in 2014, but additional paintwork would be required to bring this
Benz back to its glory days. The interior was partially restored in
2014 with new burgundy vinyl upholstery. Powered by a rebuilt 1.9L
overhead cam 4-cylinder engine and a 4-speed manual transmission
(with column shift), it is a classic example of Mercedes
engineering. Drum brakes front/rear have been rebuilt and a new
master cylinder has been recently installed. Factory 13" wheels
with original hubcaps mount Guardsman radial tires. This rare
Mercedes 190B is looking for a new owner that will appreciate its
classic appeal. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
