Vehicle Description
Wouldn't you really rather have a Buick? A 1957 Buick Century is
far from a common sight. But when it's been upgraded to Pro Touring
status, and at a very high level at that, it's really something
special. Buick purists - and indeed anyone who appreciates vintage
automobiles - will recognize the full worth of a 425 Nailhead as
the engine of choice. It's big and torquey, and just right for this
build. Furthermore, it's been freshened and balanced, and on top
two Carter AFB carbs on an aluminum Offenhauser manifold lend an
air of hot rod sophistication. Another great choice is the Turbo
400 automatic for its ability to handle lots of torque in a large
vehicle. With a 122 inch wheelbase and a curb weight of over 4400
pounds, the big Buick was no lightweight. That means six can ride
in comfort in an elegant custom interior. The character of the
original dash is retained but the interior is nicely enhanced with
striking white upholstery and red carpeting, door trim, and piping
on the seats. The effect is modern and classic at the same time,
which can be said of the entire build. Finish work extends to the
headliner and the trunk as well. Two stage Viper red paint with
all-new chrome make an eye-catching combination. Staggered 22-inch
Eagle billet wheels bring the visual dimensions up to date and
finish off the modern/classic theme. The build is so fresh, the
stickers are still on the tires. For something a cut above the
norm, this 1957 Buick Century Pro Touring is an ideal choice.

custom vehicles. We have more than 200 vehicles in our collection

that all buyers who are unable to view a vehicle in person have a
pre-purchase inspection done prior to purchase. Inspections can be
performed by an independent party selected by the buyer. Due to the
age and uniqueness of these special vehicles, it is difficult to
cover all aspects and characteristics of each vehicle's condition
within the limited space available. Thus, pre-purchase inspections
are helpful to all parties involved. The information provided for
