1934 Woodie Wagon, same wagon made famous by the Beach Boys "I got a 34 Wagon and they call it a Woodie" The car was purchased by my father in 1976, after going through his file, I tried to put the history together. In the early 60's the car was traded to an owner who redid the wood work, tuned the engine, and painted where needed. (See black and white photos) My father bought it from a man in Van Nuys, Ca (see letter) then my father had a ground-up restoration by Don Thelen (see picture and letter). I was in charge of overseeing the restoration , which also included a 1937 Woodie. Once finished, the cars went into an enclosed warehouse. The cars haven been in storage all of this time ,except for 3 times for public display.
