1973 Ford Capri GTU:

Originally built in the 80's and raced on the West Coast by Dennis Hall in the SCCA Regionals. Starting out as an ITA car, it has since had a complete rotisserie restoration as a period correct IMSA GTU car, pre-1995. Car has the original log book dating back to 1983. Completely stripped to a bare tub, media blasted and finished. All new cage and chassis structure with the Cologne MK1 factory works flare set. Engine is a LIMA Ford 2.3 that has been bored and stroked utilizing a Esslinger Billet Steel stroker crankshaft. Custom length Manly rods and JE pistons, all forged.The head is an ARCA head that was designed for the Nascar ARCA truck series. It uses Weber 55 DCOE SP's and are ported to match the head. Engine was just rebuilt June 2020. The transmission is a Tremec T5 refreshed with new bearings, seals and synchros.  The axle housing is a Ford 7.5" and was just serviced with new axle bearings. Brakes are Wilwood front and rear. It also has a Fuel Safe 12 gallon cell, twin fuel pumps, Firecharger AFFFfire suppression system and new Avon 15" slicks.
