Intended to be a low-cost Volkswagen sports car to replace the
Karmann Ghia, the first four-cylinder, mid-engined 914 convertible
appeared in 1969. VW and Porsche saw an opportunity to improve the
914's mild performance by installing the flat six from the 911 T.
Escalating production costs drove up the 914/6's retail price, so
relatively few were produced. Time has proven the 914/6 to be an
extremely well-balanced automobile, and many have been uprated with
larger engines. Today, original-specification 914/6s such as this
are highly sought after.
Delivered new through Gl�ckler in Stuttgart on 12 May 1970, this
very attractive 914/6 has been restored in its original and quite
rare Metallic Blue paint complemented by black leatherette. Its
original 14-inch wheels have been uprated with 15-inch Fuchs
alloys. It is supplied with a correct spare wheel, jack, and
toolkit.

Entregue novo atrav�s da Gl�ckler, em Estugarda, a 12 de maio de
1970, este atraente 914/6 foi restaurado na sua cor original,
bastante rara, de azul Metallic com interior em couro preto. As
jantes originais de 14 polegadas foram substitu�das por Fuchs de 15
