The first large-chassis Rolls-Royce produced after World War II,
the Silver Wraith retained an elegant pre-war appearance, yet it
also offered a more modern driving experience. All Silver Wraith
chassis were fitted with custom coachwork, from relatively sporting
coupes and dropheads to eight-passenger formal limousines and
landaulets.
The Silver Wraith offered here was bodied by Hooper in the touring
limousine style, and a copy of its original build sheet details its
specification, including a speedometer in MPH, medium- and
long-wave radio, sealed-beam headlights, and an additional cushion
for the driver's seat. Listed as the 'Ex-Brussels Show Car' on its
chassis card provided by the Rolls-Royce Foundation, this Wraith
was delivered to its first US-based owner in 1953, a Mr Blevins
Davis of Independence, Missouri.
Further US ownership history, including owners in New York,
Illinois, and Jamaica before making its way to Portugal, is
detailed in accompanying documentation from the Rolls-Royce
Foundation. An eminently usable classic Rolls-Royce, the Wraith
oozes style and grace now, as it did when new more than 60 years
ago.

O Silver Wraith foi primeiro Rolls Royce com chassis maior

selado e uma almofada adicional para o banco do condutor. Na folha
de chassis providenciada pela Rolls Royce Foundation, este exemplar
est� identificado como tendo sido apresentado no stand da Rolls
Royce no sal�o autom�vel de Bruxelas, em 1953. Ainda nesse ano, foi
entregue ao seu primeiro propriet�rio, o Sr. Blevins Davis,
residente em Independence, no estado do Missouri, EUA.
Os propriet�rios subsequentes, nos Estados Unidos � Nova Iorque,
Illinois � mas tamb�m na Jamaica, antes de chegar a Portugal,
encontram-se identificados em documenta��o igualmente providenciada
pela Rolls Royce Foundation. Sendo um Rolls Royce cl�ssico
extraordinariamente utiliz�vel, este Wraith tem estilo e
