Vehicle Description
1966 Chevy II Nova ''Street Beast''
This beautiful Nova was bought from a career military guy who is
stationed here in Ft. Meade Md.
Originally from southern California, he brought this car with him
when he moved here a few years ago.
He told us that this car was built by a local hot rod shop in
Southern California approximately 8 years ago.
It was ''Frame-off'' restored and built to ''Show - n - Go'' !!
CHECK IT OUT !!!
The body is extremely straight, solid & clean including the floors,
trunk & frame proving to me that this is a true southern California
car. This car has been mini-tubbed and they appear to have been
professionally done. VERY NICE !! The paint we bought it with had a
few deep scratches that we tried to repair but could not even come
close to matching the color so.... based on the body being so
straight and clean we decided to repaint the car ''Diamond Black''
in base/clear and I must say it came out better then expected!!
Super slick & smooth with a deep luster and a brilliant show car
shine!! It has new or near new chrome, trim & weather stripping
too. The standard black bench seat interior was completely redone
new when the car was built and still looks new . Power comes from a
nasty sounding, strong running pump gas, 383 c.i. stroker
smallblock with aluminum heads. We were told that this engine
produced over 500 h.p. on a dyno but no sheet is available. It is
backed by a TCI 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission and a 9''
Ford rear with 4:10 gears.
Other features include:
front disc brakes
serpentine belt system
B-Cool aluminum radiator
front tubular upper & lower control arms
4-link rear suspension with adjustable coilover shocks at all 4
corners
new 17'' American Racing wheels with Kumo tires
custom Flowmaster dual exhaust system
This is a real street car that not only walks the walk it talks the
talk !! Don't Miss It !!!
