Vehicle Description
1957 Oldsmobile 88 Convertible
With its black body and white convertible top, this Oldsmobile is a
striking example of the popular "Golden Rocket" 88, an all-new look
for Olds in 1957. It is also a Southern car from North Carolina
with just over 90,000 original miles on the odometer. So this is an
excellent restoration on a rust free car.
For 1957 Olds were powered by a 371 cu.in. V8 with a 4-barrel
carburetor that delivered some 300 h.p. according to the owner.
Like most Olds of the era this car has a three speed automatic
transmission.
A two-door convertible, this Olds has a sporty red and white vinyl
interior with a front bench seat. The convertible top is powered,
as are the steering and brakes.
This is one eye catching collectible convertible.
Estimate: $50,000-$55,000
