Beautiful, Highly Original 1955 Ford Thunderbird Convertible
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly original,
ultra-impressive 1955 Ford Thunderbird 2 Door Convertible with
white exterior paint, a color-correct white hardtop, a black soft
top and a gorgeous red/white vinyl interior. You'll find the
factory correct 292 cid V-8 engine under the hood with power
steering, power seats and a matching 3-speed manual transmission,
plus this example has received a 12V conversion and an upgraded
Pertonix electronic ignition. This example is in fantastic,
unrestored condition and it can be enjoyed today as a high-end
driver around town or for local shows.
Excellent Condition w/ Correct Body Colored Hardtop
The current owner informs us she purchased this 1955 Ford
Thunderbird Convertible back in 2013 and may be the 4th individual
to enjoy it. This highly original example shows excellent in person
with only minor upgrades such as the 12V battery and electronic
ignition. The color-matching hardtop is also correct off a '56
T-bird with the iconic round portholes and this classic really
impresses in person. The body lines are excellent with only minimal
signs of imperfections. Of course, the gorgeous original interior
speaks for itself in the photographs- this one has really been
cared for nicely throughout its life.
Additionally, this 1955 Ford Thunderbird Roadster delivers
excellent performance from the factory correct drivetrain and this
