Harley Davidson edition. This particular truck began its life under
the care of a Ford R&D engineer. Given his talents, the first
owner built this F-150 to the exact spec he wanted. This gorgeous
truck comes in a brilliant toreador red paint job complimented by a
clean black interior. Powering the F-150 is a supercharged 5.4
liter V8 motor mated to a automatic transmission. Upgrades to the
powertrain include a D-1SC Procharger, custom exhaust, transmission
shift kit and more. Other upgrades include a SiriusXM capable
radio, aftermarket speakers, Foose wheels, custom Hood and much
much more. Standard features include 4-wheel power disc brakes,
power windows, power steering, power locks as well as working heat
and A/C. Additionally, this Ford has recently received a full tune
up with receipts to show over $2300 in recent work. The truck also
comes with a clean CarFax vehicle history report. Throughout its
lifetime this vehicle has only known 2 serious Ford collectors. As
such it is clear this vehicles has always been lovingly maintained.

Ford began work on producing their 10th generation of the F-Series
truck and introduced it in late 1996. The 1997 model year F-150 was
redesigned from the ground up for the first time since 1980 and
added a rounded styling which allowed improved aerodynamics, a
larger interior came with this adjustment to design and the fuel
economy improved as well. Other improvements beyond the design
included an all-new 5.4L engine and with the available XL, XLT,
Lariat, King Ranch and Harley-Davidson edition packaging, the
vehicle went on to be very marketable to all different price points
and age ranges. This generation went on until 2003 and then for the
2004 the F-Series was changed from the ground up again.
