Up for sale is this classic 1967 Mustang 4-speed Convertible that has just finished a restoration. It was “born” on May 15th, 1967 and first put into service from a dealer in VA Beach, according to the included Deluxe Marti Report. It made its way back to VA after buying from the owner in Oregon in 1998 after an engine/powertrain rebuild and interior restoration (receipts included), Since then, it was with the same owner for 20 years, before I bought it to bring it back to life. Many, many new parts have been installed in the most recent restoration, too numerous to list them all, but I will highlight some below:
Engine Compartment:
- Aluminum valve covers (and gaskets); chrome air cleaner
- Spark plugs, plug wires, Distributor cap & rotor; all filters
- Fuel pump; Aluminum water pump
- All Silicone heater and radiator hoses
- Coolant overflow reservoir; Windshield wiper pump and reservoir
- Motor mounts
- Aluminum Radiator; Fan shroud; starter solenoid

Exterior:
- Repainted with classic “Wimbledon White” base coat and clear coat
- Front vent window weather stripping;
- Chrome side remote mirror, door handles and locks; antenna
- Polished Aluminum rocker panel moldings; “Running horse” “289” emblems
- Staggered 15x7 (front) 15x8 (rear) “Magnum 500” wheels with brand new Cooper Cobra radials (215/65R15) and 245/60R15)
- Like new black vinyl top
Interior:
- Completely removed and floor was metal etched and sealed
- Padded black carpeting and Lloyd “Running Horse” carpeted floor mats
- Heater box and blower motor
- Retro look modern Stereo (analog when off, digital when on, with aux)
- Dual coil center mounted front speaker (factory placement), with dual rear speakers
- Polished Aluminum door sill strips; front seat trim; kick panels
- Factory look flannel trunk mat and matching spare tire cover
Underbody:
- Gas tank and filler neck; Stainless Steel (SS) fuel lines
- SS brake lines
