Vehicle Description
Restoration started by the late Tom Kortisses, who was Bratton's
consultant & restorer. Engine rebuilt by Ora Landis at Schwalm's of
Strasburg, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, Mr. Kortisses passed away
in the middle of the restoration and his widow sold it to our
seller, who carefully finished the restoration of this super rare
late 1931 Model A Pickup. These late '31 Model 82B pickups featured
the first solid metal roof and all-steel body in automotive history
and were furnished to Ford by the Budd Company. They also featured
a slightly wider bed constructed with a steel floor. This truck is
all steel, highly detailed, and runs & drives great!
