We are pleased to present this 1973 Jeepster Commando. The final
production year of the Jeepster line before it was replaced by the
Cherokee. The driver quality exterior belies the upgraded
mechanical systems including new Dana 30 Chromoly axle shafts, Warn
hubs, ball joints, tie rods, tie rod ends, steering stabilizer,
custom Alcan leaf springs, shackles and hardware, shocks, Dana 20
twin-stick shifter, Dana u-joints front and rear, radiator and
hoses, fuel tank, fuel hose, fuel pump and new battery. In addition
to the long list of new parts the carburetor was rebuilt, engine
fluids replaced, both front and rear differentials were serviced
and the Dana 44 rear was welded. The exterior received new Rockhard
front and rear bumpers and tire carrier, fender flares, Besttop
soft top, Crosby Shackles, headlight, taillights, turn markers and
a Warn 8-S winch. The what we believe to be original 304 V8 fires
right up and performs well with the replacement rebuilt 400 turbo
automatic transmission and factory power steering. We can arrange
