sale. The Firebird was fitted with the 5.0L V8 engine that produces
190 horsepower. Mated to the power plant is an automatic
transmission that shifts strong and smooth. Introduced during a
fuel crisis, the Pontiac engineers focused on advanced aerodynamics
as well as weight savings so that the reduced engine outputs would
still provide excellent performance compared to the 3rd
generation.
Externally the car wears a striking coat of black paint and
features new Firebird decals. Inside, two-tone black and cloth
seats can be found with minimal signs of wear. The interior is
exceptionally clean and has just received a professional detail.
Highlights include T - tops, power windows, power mirrors, power
locks, tilt steering wheel, and cruise control.
The car runs and drives very well with the engine starting up right
away. The transmission shifts smoothly and the car rides remarkably
well. The engine sounds good and pulls well and the brakes stop
straight and true. The exterior shows very well with solid paint,
plastic trim that shows no fading, and excellent decals.
