With the anticipation of the war effort to begin, all automotive
manufacturers ceased civilian production early into the 1942 to
focus production on military equipment and supplies. At Ford Motor
Co., production on cars and trucks halted on February 10, 1942.
Unique attributes make the limited production 1942 model examples
easier to spot from their 1941 predecessor. These included a new
grill with an electric shaver design appearance, relocated the
parking lights higher above the grills, horizontal taillights
instead of vertical, round speedometer & clock housings which
allowed them to move the radio lower in the dash, along with other
changes
This is a nice car show cruiser!
