This is a fantastic example of the muscle car era, a 1970
Oldsmobile 442. This car is in excellent frame off restored
condition where the frame was media blasted and has very few miles
driven since. Everything is new or restored to new condition. A
rebuilt correct early 1970 455 big block V8 replaces the original
one, is bored 30 over, but still retains the original E heads,
intake, carb, forged pistons, distributor, and most original parts
but block, and runs like a monster on steriods with more than the
original 355hp and 500 lb ft of torque. It is mated to the rebuilt
original Turbo 400 automatic transmission and 3.23 rear end. This
car is loaded with all the good features a real legend deserves
like Air Conditioning, Power steering, Power disc brakes, bucket
seats, the rare night watch light, tic tock tack, and much more.
The drive quality is exceptional just like the rest of the car.
What makes this car even more special is the history and
documentation with it. It came from the estate of the 2nd owner
that had the car restored. The original owner was a mechanic at
Oldsmobile. The car was never wrecked and during the restoration
was completely blasted down to metal and still has original front
fenders, firewall, and doors. Then it was repainted in its original
Sebring Yellow color. There are 2 different folders with countless
before and after restoration pics and reciepts. It also comes with
not one but TWO Protecto-O-Plates. Don't let this unbelievable car
pass you by.
