Vehicle Description
The 1956 Ford Crown Victoria was one of Ford's very special models.
With the sweeping chrome over the roof it is very distinctive. The
car was restored a little over 20 years ago and the chrome and
brightwork is very good. The Black/White and Gold interior is also
in very good condition. Behind the 312 V8 is a 3 speed on the tree
manual transmission with the overdrive option. Continental kit,
along with fender skirts, give this Crown Vic the true 50's look.
Wide whitewall radials with factory full wheel covers are the
finishing touches on this classic. With a little over 9,000 Crown
Victoria's built, this is a rare find. 12 Volt ignition was
standard for 1956 and it was the first year Ford offered seat belts
as an option. 1956 was a great year for Ford and 60+ years later it
is still one of their best years for styling.
