Vehicle Description

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME, FULLY RESTORED, COPPER METALLIC, 1969 FORD BRONCO, LIFTEDAND LOADED WITH STRONG, REBUILT 302 V8, POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES, CUSTOM STEREO AND MORE...READY TO SHOW AND GO!!!

As we all know, these Early Ford Bronco Classics continue to be one of the hottest collector vehicles out there right now with no sign of them cooling off anytime soon. This Copper/Black '69 was actually a Bronco I sold to a young actor in Los Angeles, CA 6 years ago. He was overseas filming at the time we did the deal and when he returned he and a friend drove this Bronco from California to Wyoming for an adventure. He continued to enjoy it over the years accumulating about 4000 miles on it and did a few upgrades including adding Power steering and the Chrome Step up bars. He kept the Bronco in fantastic condition and it looks much like it did when we sold it to him 6 years ago. He decided to move overseas with his girlfriend and gave me the opportunity to buy it back which I jumped at. It is now available for the next lucky owner to enjoy...maybe you??!! As with all of my classics I do have this awesome Bronco listed on my website and several others. If you decide this is the one for you and want to scoop it up before the next car guy or gal does, feel free to give me a call to discuss how we can make that happen. I am also a Licensed Transport Broker and can assist the buyer with a great rate on Open or Enclosed Transport anywhere in the country. I also welcome overseas buyers and can assist in getting the Bronco to the port of your choice. I will do my best to provide enough large images, a video so you can hear it running, and an honest description to help you decide if this is the one for you. Sit back and enjoy!!

As mentioned, I owned this Bronco 6 years ago and it had gone through an extensive restoration about a year prior to that. We were told it was a frame off restoration at that time and the Bronco lived in Florida most, if not all, its life before coming to Georgia where the restoration was completed. The only real rust that was replaced was in the rocker panels but otherwise we were told it was an extremely solid body and was stripped to bare metal before the Copper metallic base coat/clear coat was professionally sprayed. The paint quality is excellent and the body is nice and straight and body panels fit very nicely. The actor we sold it to kept this Bronco in fantastic condition and it looks pretty close to as good as when we sold it to him 6 years ago. At the time of restoration all of the body side moldings were replaced, new front and rear chrome bumpers, emblems, etc. The front grille had a few chips so we re-sprayed it in silver and added the red FORD letters. The previous owner decided it would be easier getting in and out of this lifted Bronco if he added the Chrome step up bars under the doors which look nice but if you prefer it without can easily be removed. The center section of the hood was painted in flat black which really looks great and accents the black fender flares nicely. Flip open fuel cap is a nice touch on this one. Windows are all tinted and roll up and down nicely. While this is a very high quality Bronco that will win its share of trophies at local shows and get all the attention, it does have a few minor paint chips that have been touched up, a small rock peck in the windshield on the passenger side under the tinted area, and a really tiny hairline crack in the paint on the drivers side rear fender extension where they filled it in for a smooth look. However, as you will see in the photo tour of the body none of these minor flaws are at all obvious and most people will think it looks like new. This Bronco has a great stance with the 3 1/2" suspension lift and sits on a vintage set of wheels with Ford Truck hub caps that set it off nicely.

I think the way to enjoy these Broncos is with the top off and just a bikini top to get some coverage and as you can see this one has a great Roll Bar and does come with the bikini top. Previous owner also decided to install a brand new Rampage full soft top with the zip out windows which is also a great way to go. I show it below with the top on with windows in and out. When the windows are zipped out you do get the open air feel of the convertible and can easily zip the windows back in for protection when needed. We are not selling this Bronco with a hard top but if you feel you really need a hard top we do have one that could be included for an additional amount. Most people end up finding that the hard tops are so large and difficult to take off and put on that the full soft top is the best option. As you will see in the pics the side windows are tinted and match up with the tint on the soft top well.

The high quality restoration done 7 years ago also included a beautiful new black stock interior with some nice upgrades. Stock original front and rear seats were recovered and look great. Door panels and dash pad were replaced and still look great. Rear interior panels were added to match and 4 speakers were mounted in them along with 2 additional speakers up front for some great tunes from the upgraded Kenwood stereo mounted in the Tuffy Center Console compartment. The interior was lined before the new carpeting was installed at time of restoration. The carpeting is a gray colored and has faded a bit over the years. Front floor mats show some wear. All of the gauges and lights appear to be working correctly and a tach was mounted on the steering column. Steering wheel is a comfort grip style with the Ford Logo horn button. The 3-speed manual shifter was moved off the column to the floor with a hurt shifter which operates smoothly. The only thing not working I believe is the heater as originally we were told the plan was to install vintage A/c and heat but this was never done. Original Vin tag still in place on the glove box door. Overall the interior still looks great.

Of course this '69 Bronco is not just a great looking rig, it also has a strong running drivetrain and is a blast to drive and enjoy. At the time I bought it 6 years ago there was supposedly about 1000 miles on the rebuilt 302 V8 at that time. The gentleman we sold it to put about 4000 miles on it so the motor is still strong and fresh. We had a receipt showing the transmission and transfer cases were also rebuilt and a new clutch was installed about 7 years ago. We had included these receipts when we sold it 6 years ago but he never kept them. Other things done included upgrade to electronic ignition, new wiring harness, belts, hoses etc. An Edelbrock 4bbl Carburetor feeds the fuel to this 302 V8 and the motor pulls strong and hard and is just a little more horsepower than stock making it a nice cruiser but not a speed demon. Nice set of headers breathe out the dual exhaust which has a nice tone you can hear in the video that follows. As you will see the engine bay is nicely detailed and you will be proud to show it off at the local shows and cruise ins. Hydraulic lifts were added to the hood to make opening this heavy hood much easier than original. Power brakes stop this Bronco nicely and the previous owner added power steering for easier handling and maneuverability. Great stance thanks to the new 3 1/2 suspension lift kit installed at time of restoration including new springs, bushings etc.Cool look with the original styled Bronco wheels that have period correct Ford Truck hub caps for a unique look. Tires are BFG All Terrain 33x12.5x15 that have about 50% tread life left. A new fuel tank was added at time of restoration as well. The undercarriage is also in fantastic condition and nicely detailed with no rust issues. A Tow hitch was installed if you decide to tow a boat or trailer with this Bronco. Overall it is a great running Bronco that can be driven and enjoyed or taken to the shows and cruise-ins.

Make sure you watch the video!
