1985 Hummer H1/M998
This Hummer started life in the service of the US Military. Unfortunately I haven't been able to trace this particular Humvee's service record.
It was purchased from the military for use in movies and TV shows. Reportedly it was in one of the first Batman movies, however, I cannot find photographic evidence of that. I was able to find photos of this Hummer in use in the NBC hit show Blacklist where it was seen several times in the series.
The current owner purchased the truck directly from the owner of the "movie car" company in NY for use as a promotional tool for his bars... and as a toy to simply enjoy.
In the last 3-4 years of ownership he has added a 2" Rubber Ducky body lift, LED headlights, front and rear cameras, 22" MotoMetal "shotgun" rims, 40" Open Country MT tires, the large Rubber Ducky bull bar, a center console outfitted with a waterproof Pyle stereo and several speakers throughout the cabin and installed shoulder belts. The original tires and wheels come with the truck, they are NOT the CTI (central tire inflation) rims.
The "wigwag" Blue and Red LED lights are still in place and operational as are the infrared night lights.
The 6.2 diesel starts right up and runs it's power through a TH400 GM 3 speed auto transmission out to portal/geared hubs set in front and rear independent suspension.
The mileage shown on the odometer reads 3,793 however, it is unknown if it has turned over... based on the wear seen in certain areas, it is probably 103K. The body and frame on this truck are super solid no rust/rot anywhere.
This is not a pampered, dolled up civi H1, so there isn't leather padded interior or A/C, it does have working heat and power steering and power brakes, 4 wheel in board discs.
It was repainted in black by the production company, however, there are places the original olive drab can be seen wearing through.
This Hummer also comes with a custom slant back fiberglass top with side windows and a rear window for better rear vision.
It is fully streetable and is currently registered in CT and also comes with a NY title.
