Vehicle Description
1970 Porsche 911 T Coupe
Completed on January 16th, 1970
Two-owner rust-free California blue-plate 911T has been garaged in
Orange County, California for the past 32 years. Stunning example
finished in its original factory color combination Conda Green with
Black upholstery. Beautiful condition inside and out with partial
original paint. The interior is amazing with original seats, door
panels, the original headliner in near perfect condition, original
sun visors and original dash with one small crack. The original
brightwork on the window frames and quarter windows is in excellent
condition along with the chrome work and rear grill. The deep-six
Fuch alloys have been restored with new Vredestein 185 70 15
tires.
2.2 Liter Flat Six engine is paired with a 4-speed manual
transmission and four-wheel disc brakes. The 4-speed transmission
upshifts & downshifts perfectly, it is very rare to find and much
easier to shift than the 5-speed dogleg. 87,979 miles are showing
on the odometer and believed to be the original miles. The
2.2-liter engine was rebuilt in 1987 by GP Racing in Seal Beach,
California. After the engine was rebuilt the owner could not find
anyone to properly rebuild the original Zenith carburetors and the
911 was never driven. European Collectibles had the Zenith
carburetors rebuilt by Supertec Performance. A full service was
performed including new rotors, brake pads, wheel bearings, brake
lines, brake flush, the pedal cluster & shifter bushing where
replaced. All fluids changed with new fuel lines. Over $10,000 was
spent! Phenomenal mechanical condition! Do not miss this
opportunity to acquire a great original 911T Coupe!

History
The 1970-1971 model years consisted of the same models of 911 the
entry-level T, the midrange E and the top of the line S. However,
all models got a new, larger 2.2-liter engine which was an increase
over the 2.0 liter from 1964 to 1969. The new power ratings were
120 hp (97 kW) for the T, 155 hp (123 kW) for the E and 180 hp (142
kW) for the S. The 911E and 911S used mechanical fuel injection
(MFI) in all markets and the 911T was carbureted.
1970 was the first of the 2.2-liter engine with a single overhead
camshaft, 6 cylinders with 2 valves per cylinder. The output of 123
bhp (125 PS/92 kW) of power at 5,800 rpm, and maximum torque of 176
Nm (130 lbft/17.9 kgm) at 4200 rpm. Top speed is 200 km/h (124
mph).
