1950 Dodge Wayfarer Custom Hard Top Convertible. This amazing 1950
Dodge has been customized from front to back. Black base coat paint
with a semi gloss clear coat. Repainted in the last four years. The
main body is a 1950 Dodge but the front end is a 1954 Chrysler, the
rear trunk lid is a 1950 Ford, and the bumpers are 1953 De Soto.
1954 Ford Frenched headlights and rings. Hand smoothed and custom
fabricated rear tail lights adorn the back fenders. A sleek and
conveniently located fuel filer lid (magnetized) tastefully sits at
the drivers side rear. Recessed rear license plate cove in trunk
lid with back up camera (eye behind plate). The original sheet
metal hard top has been chopped and replaced with a removable one
piece low profile Carson padded hard top, covered with black cloth
and hand stitched. Hand fabricated Custom fender skirts. The
interior is fully restored with a color matched red 1950 Ford
paint. Beautiful, soft and very comfortable pleated vinyl seats.
Handmade center counsel with cup holders, ash tray, AM-FM-CD stereo
insert (comes with remote) flush mount Climate controls and the
reverse camera screen cutout. This one of a kind "Lead Sled" has a
1986 Buick Regal front suspension and is equipped with a small
block 1978 Malibu 305 V8 engine with custom made valve cover covers
to give the appearance the engine is wearing Hemi heads. It's mated
to a 200 R4 transmission. Has Dual exhaust (Not functioning side
pipes). Wide white wall radial tires. Other options include: Rear
air ride leveling system, power steering, power breaks, tilt
steering column, modern gauges, horn (not working) custom hand
painted pin striping in the engine compartment. Custom hand
fabricated engine compartment covers and inner fenders. This full
restoration and customization was completed approximately fifteen
years ago. Comes with a spare tire and cover, seat belts in front
as well as photos outlining some of this beautiful and unique high
quality build.
