Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this stunning 1969 Triumph TR6 which comes with the very sought after option of Factory Overdrive Transmission which works perfectly. Factory Overdrive works as it should on this TR6 and really increases the driving experience especially on longer drives or highway driving. This TR6 is in fully restored condition and comes with upgrades throughout the car, see description list below. This TR6 has been nicely maintained over the years with a folder full of manuals, information, and hundreds of receipts for work completed on the car since 1992. Over $13,000 in receipts are included withe the sale. This TR6 comes with fuel injection installed which greatly enhances the driving experience and responsiveness of this car. This TR6 features a nice Silver paint job, A restored Tan interior, Factory Overdrive, Fuel Injection, and numerous upgrades throughout the car. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Silver exterior over Tan interior.
Exterior
The Silver exterior is in restored very nice overall condition. This TR6 was changed to Silver and was done well and shows nicely. The paint is in good condition and has an nice gloss and is smooth to the touch. The body is very solid and the gaps and lines are terrific on this car. There is no bubbling paint anywhere on this car and no signs of corrosion or rust anywhere on this TR6. A newer Robbins soft top was recently installed and the top frame was restored. The underside is very solid as well with no visible rust or corrosion anywhere. Both bumpers are in good condition and they were blacked out to achieve a desired look. The Goodyear tires are like new and have nearly full tread left and sized 205/70/15 and the aftermarket Konig wheels are like new with newer center caps and lug nuts and show no wear. All weather stripping and seals are in like new condition and have been replaced. Trunk is very solid and clean with spare tire, jack tools, and correct style new trunk carpet. All glass is in excellent condition. The top cover is missing.
Interior
The Tan interior of this TR6 is in terrific restored condition. The seats have newer seat covers which are in excellent overall condition with replaced seat foams and are very comfortable. The carpet was replaced and in excellent condition with no major wear, stains, or holes. The newer door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The wood dash surround is newer and in excellent condition and is absolutely stunning and looks excellent in the car. The entire dash area is fresh and newly installed including the top dash pad and surrounds, plinth area and all knobs, and the shifter area and surround and all shows like new. The gauges all work and are clear and crisp and all lights work as well including the hazards. The horn, wipers, blower motor, turn signals, hazards, and all other lights work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in excellent mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. This TR6 has been treated to several performance upgrades over the years and is a true pleasure to drive. This is a factory Overdrive car and the overdrive works properly and it a great feature to have on these cars. This TR6 was treated to an excellent upgrade in Fuel Injection and works well. It starts easily and holds idle quickly and is ready to go immediately. See attachment for complete information on the Fuel Injection upgrade (www.pattonmachine.com). This TR6 is very quick and responsive and is so fun to drive. This TR6 performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TR6 is an excellent driver which has substantial power improvement and increased handling over stock counterparts. This TR6 has been loved and very well maintained over the years and comes with a folder full of manuals, instructions and hundreds of receipts and service records. The brakes were serviced and they do not pull and stop as they should. The clutch and slave cylinder was replaced and the car shifts smoothly without issue. The exhaust has been upgraded to a performance Falcon exhaust system and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. The rear differential has been rebuilt and new bushings were installed. The suspension has been completely rebuilt with new bushings, new shocks, new springs, and new front and rear sway bars. The ignition and distributor have been upgraded to performance units. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
