1973 Oldsmobile Toronado
Car has had two owners in it's lifetime and mileage is accurate as under 38,000 has original engine and transmission, exhaust has recently been replaced. Power windows, power driver seat and power antennae all work. Heat and blower work, AC may need attention. This is a Johnny Cash care as it's all black inside and out, interior is in fantastic shape and has the white gold inside trim. This is a great car and I just don't have time for it anymore, drives very smooth and is a great riding car.
The Pick of the Day was a front-wheel-drive landmark of the 1960s
The Pick of the Day was groundbreaking at the time and still commands a strong presence
Following solid sales and critical success for the Buick Riviera, General Motors came out with a groundbreaking design for its next “personal-luxury” car.
I worked at Clark Oldsmobile in West Palm Beach, Florida, right after graduating high school in 1978. This (formerly) beautiful but still rare and unusual Oldsmobile Toronado came in for service and oil changes.
For the 1966 model year, Oldsmobile rolled out a relatively revolutionary car — a full-size car pulled around by its front wheels rather than pushed around by those at the rear.
