1940 Chevy 1.5 ton dually flat bed truck. Original straight 6/216 engine/manual trans. Body, frame, drive train and interior are in great condition. This truck has not been chopped, cut or molested in all these years. Paint is an older repaint but fits the character of the truck. All body panels are solid with no rust through. Frame is solid, the oak wood bed and hardware are in good condition. The crank out windshield operates well. All the glass is intact with no cracks. Tires are in good shape and do not show any dry rotting. Engine starts and runs smoothly with no smoke, but hesitates under a load. Transmission shifts in all gears. Brakes work well. Headlights work. New wiring harness included that has not been installed. This is a very cool old truck with a ton of character and just needs a very minor amount of tinkering to get it road worthy. This truck would be an excellent parade vehicle, town cruiser, farm truck or even a great advertising piece for your business. It turns a lot of heads.
