Quattrovalvole in 1982. In this rendition, Ferrari was able to
overcome the loss of power in previous models due to emissions
standards, pushing the power back up to 230 horsepower. This was
made possible by utilizing four valves per cylinder, which is where
we get the name ''Quattrovalvole''. This generation is easily
recognized by its low-profile louvre panels on the front lid, which
assist in evacuating the exhaust from the radiator. Aside from the
increase in valves per cylinder, the engine used in the 308 QV is
essentially the same. The 2.9L Italian V8 gallops with the full (US
Specified) 230 horses at 6,800 RPM, accompanied by 188 torques at
5,500 RPM. This 308 is in classic Ferrari form with Rosso Corsa
paintwork and Tan interior and is an absolute pleasure to drive.
