This was made possible by utilizing four valves per cylinder, which is where we get the name ''Quattrovalvole''. This generation is easily recognized by its low-profile louvre panels on the front lid, which assist in evacuating the exhaust from the radiator. Aside from the increase in valves per cylinder, the engine used in the 308 QV is essentially the same. The 2.9L Italian V8 gallops with the full (US Specified) 230 horses at 6,800 RPM, accompanied by 188 torques at 5,500 RPM.
