This 1962 BMW R50/2 is reported to have remained with the original
owner in San Francisco until 2010, and more recently underwent a
"Duchess Motorcycles" restoration by marque-specialist Scott
Sharpe. Finished in traditional black with white pinstriping, the
bike is equipped with a Denfeld solo saddle, Earles fork, and a set
of Albert rearview mirrors. The original 494cc opposed-twin has
been rebuilt along with the four-speed gearbox, final drive,
electrical system, brakes, and suspension. Approximately 100 miles
have been added since the restoration was completed in 2017. This
R50/2 is now being offered with a certificate issued by Scottie's
Workshop, restoration receipts, and a clear Washington title. This
