T38 1937 MC Half-Ton Dodge Pickup. Flat head 6 cylinder. Original. Complete new break system was done in 2017. Radial tires, 116 inch wheel base. Engine number T38-25181. 25181 = Sequence number starting at 1001. This is the longer block also used for larger CID displacements. According to casting number this shows to be a Canadian engine. All Canadian engines used the larger engine blocks. Even the smaller 218 CID. This casting was used for various engines through 1953. All identification shows that this engine is original and correct for this truck.
We have Truck Shop Manual Series M & FE 1937 from Chrysler Corporation of Canada Limited Windsor, Ontario for this truck. We also have a Parts Manual of 1936-1940 for Dodge truck.
Since the complete restoration of frame off of this truck the mileage is currently at 3,569 miles. Since restoration of this truck we are the second owner.
We purchased the truck in 2004. We have enjoyed taking it to many car shows. People always admirer this vehicle, knowing that the Dodge Brothers truck of this year is hard to come by. We have always taken home many 1st place trophies in original class. The truck was also featured in the magazine called Wisconsin. We were at a car show and the magazine company came and asked us if they could take a picture and feature it in their story. As much fun as we have had with this jewel, we are looking at downsizing, as to why it is for sale.
