used, worn, whatever word you use to describe the exterior there is
much more than meets the eye on this one! Look past what you see
on the surface and there are some really great parts, and styling
that reflect research and labor to achieve a vision. Countless
hours and lots of money have been put into this old farm truck to
modernize it, while leaving the old, worn look on the exterior.
The patina has been covered and preserved by a matte clear coat.
The exterior features new lights, chrome bezels, original glass,
and an impressive raised oak bed. The truck has a '85 Chevy truck
frame modified and powdercoated to accept the Apache body. A number
of parts under the truck are new including coil springs, rear leaf
springs, new front and rear shocks, lower control arms, and a
Hellwig sway bar. This custom Apache rides on 20 Rambler wheels
wrapped in Nitto tires. The interior has been re-worked with
custom carpeting, custom headliner, and a custom TMI products
houndstooth bench seat. Other highlights of the interior are a
chrome steering column, red instrument cluster, and custom handles,
cranks and pedals. Under the hood is a new West Coast engines
383ci V8 stroker motor mated to a Saginaw 4-Speed transmission. A
Hurst shifter aides in gear selection. The engine has been dyno
tested, and cranked out just shy of 500 horsepower - plenty of
muscle to get this truck moving down the road! Only 732 miles have
clicked over since the build of this unique truck. This Apache has
features in Street Trucks Magazine and Hot Rod Hotline under its
belt, and when taken to Detroit Autorama in 2018 it took 2nd place
in it's division. This thing is turn-key ready and with such an
awesome build, we don't think it will be gracing us with its
presence for too long! Be sure to check out all the photos and
