When this 1958 Corvette was first built, it was made to be a
lightweight high-performance machine. Under the hood is the
extremely desirable 270hp solid lifter 283C.I. V8 engine fed by
correct dual 4-barrel WCFB Carter carburetors (1 of 978). Other
factors that make this Corvette among the rarest and most desirable
is that it was built with a 4-speed manual transmission (1 of
3,764), no radio (1 of 3,026), no heater (1 of 1,154), and with a
hardtop in replacement of a convertible soft top (1 of 2,215). Most
1958 Corvettes were built with these common options, but this one
was built with raw no nonsense performance in mind and makes it all
the more collectible and sought after today. Adding to this
Corvette's rarity is it's extremely rare exterior color; one of
only 190 finished in Panama Yellow with white coves. The interior
is covered in clean black vinyl with lighter gray carpeting. The
bottom shows it's correct bare fiberglass and all components look
