Vehicle Description
This 1951 Ford Victoria Custom Convertible has only 63,500 original
miles. The Sportsman Green exterior matches very well with Green
and Black Interior. The interior has been reupholstered and is in
great condition. The black, cloth, power convertible top has
recently rebuilt electric motors and opens seamlessly from the
control on the front dash. The replaced top is in very nice
condition. The resprayed paint is well applied and shows only minor
chips in the door frames that have been touched up (photos
included). The car has been properly converted to a 12-volt
battery, everything operates correctly besides original 6-volt AM
radio that was kept. To raise the original 100hp on the 239ci V8
Flathead engine to 130hp the owner has added aluminum HC Heads,
Offenhauser manifold and dual single barrel NCI Carburetors. For
cosmetics the motor has Edelbrock Flathead valve covers. All
original parts have been kept and are included with purchase if the
future owner would rather go all original. The 3-speed manual
transmission runs well, controlled by a column shift. The body has
no rust, the undercarriage has only light surface rust in scattered
places. The undercarriage has been sprayed with an oil-based rust
inhibitor by a previous owner. Fender skirts, front and rear
bumperettes, and proper exhaust tips are included as well. This car
starts, idles, and drives very well.
