This 1973 BMW 2002tii was originally ordered with air conditioning
and no sunroof, and was reportedly sold new to a serviceman in
Upstate New York. The car subsequently resided in Arizona and Texas
before the seller acquired it in Louisiana in 1994. The seller
undertook a restoration which included the installation of a
sunroof roof panel, numerous exterior panels, exterior trim, and
interior upholstery, along with a rebuild of the fuel-injected 2.0L
inline-four. Factory and original-supplier parts were used wherever
possible during the refurbishment and subsequent work. In more
recent years the car received a 5-speed manual transmission from an
E21 3-Series, a rebuild of the fuel injection system, and more.
