Vehicle Description
This is your chance to go racing with a fully developed and sorted
race car eligible for SCCA and some vintage racing clubs such as
HRG. It was maintained and raced by a noted MG collector. It comes
with an SCCA log book.
Engine built by Peter Marcovicci Engineering. It delivers 172 hp at
7500 rpm. It has all the racing internals one would want for a
competitive racer. All the receipts and dyno results are available.
Only 3 races since engine built.
The transmission is a five speed with special gearing from
HyGear.
It features MG B disc brakes on the front and Wilwood discs at the
rear. Comes with new tires plus a spare set of wheels and
tires.
This is a right hand drive car, an advantage on road racing
circuits. Of course, the chassis if fully sorted and set up. It has
raced at most of the major tracks in the Northeast including Lime
Rock Park, Watkins Glen and Thompson.
The body is in very good shape as can be seen from the photographs.
It is painted in British racing green with silver trim. The car was
restored and converted to racing some 25 years ago.
