Vehicle Description
Stock Number: 1140
This is a Real Y82 Special Edition 4 Speed Trans AM - The car that
was made famous by the Movie, Smokey and the Bandit. It is highly
optioned car including the W72 and 4 Speed Manual Transmission.
That makes this Trans AM 1 of 2,699. That is less than 5% of the
1977 production. Factor in how many are left on the road and it
becomes clear this is a hard car to find. Fully documented with PHS
and numbers matching throughout.
This Trans AM is in very good survivor condition with one repaint
at some point in its life. As it is an older repaint, it does show
some age. So there will be imperfections. It runs and drives, but
the engine does have a miss in it that has not been diagnosed. So
expect you will need to do some work to get it in Tip-Top shape up
to and including a possible rebuild of the engine. Enjoy as it or a
perfect base for a Frame-Off restoration. These are highly sought
after and coveted by those that own them. Become one of the Elite
Trans AM owners to have a true collectible TA in their
collection.
