1946 Dodge WF21 Dually 1-Ton Stake Bed Pickup
This 1946 Dodge WD21 Dually which includes the Straight 6 motor and 3-speed manual option, has been well maintained and is in a very good overall condition. This vehicle is typical of the type of automobile that both collectors and enthusiasts sought after when looking to either add to or expand into their collection. This is a rare truck since it was produced immediately postwar, and the auto manufacturers were still restarting production of civilian vehicles in the years following World War II. This vehicle is an original Standard Oil Company vehicle, which includes a genuine passenger warning notice plate.
While retaining the basic external looks and characteristics of this 73 year old classic truck, this '46 WD21 now features a reupholstered interior and new trim. The frame and wood for the cargo bed and stake sides are very nice and have new hinges. The 230 cid 6-cylinder motor has a new one barrel carter carburetor and an electric fuel pump. The 3-speed manual transmission, differential, leaf springs and under carriage are in working order. The vehicle has been converted to 12 volt electrical with new exterior lights.
This classic was featured in the Brea Centennial parade and would be an ideal showpiece for a unique storefront advertising display.
