You will not find a nicer Trans Am than this one owner beauty with
only 42,500 miles! Absolutely gorgeous and ready to be shown,
cruised or just take off down the highway!! This gorgeous,
one-owner T/A was purchased new from Lakeside Pontiac in Bellevue
right after being featured in the Seattle Auto Show that year. It
is one of 2,200 manufactured by Hurst in 1978 and has been in the
care of the owner of Precision Engine Specialists since new.
The W72 400ci engine has been built, balanced and blueprinted by
PES coming in at a whopping 435 horsepower at 4,800 RPM. They have
produced engines for the past 32 years, including vehicles for
NASCAR, APBA, USCA and hold many records, only making this car even
more unique. The power can be felt resonating through the floor as
you shift through the 4-speed manual transmission and the stock
rear-end attempting to keep the rubber on the road.
It comes with a book full of documentation from purchase
documenting everything that has been done to the car since rolling
off of the assembly line, including oil changes, emissions testing
and the tires being swapped for new. It even comes with the window
sticker! It is PHS registered and sits on the original gold plated
wheels, new tires and the infamous Hurst suspension package.
Inside it is fully outfitted with the gold "disco" dash, stereo,
power windows and custom Firebird emblazoned seats that are all in
immaculate condition.
This historical piece of Trans Am history is now being offered at
$36,900.00!
This car is being represented for a collector in the Seattle,
Washington area.
