Vehicle Description
You already know this is like no other 1975 Chevrolet Camaro you've
seen before. But beneath the added classic style is a custom frame,
competition-worthy suspension, and a performance-built 383 stroker
V8 to create an awesome pro street machine.
The classic Rally Sport style front end with the huge opening that
wants to consume all that's ahead of it is a nice upgrade on this
'75 Camaro. And this one really earns its look of aggressive
performance. The hood pins, full width-rear spoiler, and the big
power bulge of the cowl hood continue the intimidating looks. Plus,
the polished 15-inch wheels draw plenty of attention to the stance
that tucks under those meaty rear tires. And the whole coupe is
wrapped in an awesome-looking Satin Silver package that reminds you
there's less than 150 miles on this build.
In case you were not given enough hints at the performance-oriented
build on the exterior, you absolutely understand it once you open
the door. The back seat has been replaced by the tubbed rear end
and an eight-point roll cage. The trunk now has a 16-gallon fuel
cell and the battery. There's a dual set of racing seats. Plus,
there's a custom-built dash and center console combo that
encapsulates the driver. It contains the Lecarra sports steering
wheel, full AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite gauges, and the B&M
shifter. But there are also thoughtful touches, like how the
diamond pattern inserts of the seats match the door panels. And
because this is a car for the streets, you have features like power
windows, an AM/FM/CD stereo, and Dynamat insulation in the
floors.
The engine bay is a racer's dream. It gives you plenty of space to
work while eliminating unnecessary weight. Plus, you also begin to
see the bracing of the full custom chassis. This is a 383
cubic-inch stroker V8 that has been upgraded with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetors, hi-rise intake, and ceramic coated headers
feeding the growling dual exhaust. Plus, this has all the right
supporting components, including MSD high performance starter,
Edelbrock fuel pump w/steel braided lines, AFCO aluminum radiator
w/electric fan, and separate transmission cooler. The V8 feeds a
four-speed automatic unit that sends power to a strong Currie
9-inch rear running 4.11 gears for fast take-offs. As you look at
the undercarriage photos, you get to see the full view of the
custom boxed steel chassis. You'll also spot other investments,
like the tubular A-arm front suspension, a reinforced parallel
four-link rear, and sway bars front & rear. Plus, behind each wheel
is an adjustable coilover and Wilwood four-piston disc brakes.
