Vehicle Description
1963 Buick Riviera. Nice straight, clean, show quality driver
condition. Numbers matching 401 w/ Turbine trans. One known repaint
(white) by a previous owner sometime around 15-20 years ago. Body
tag shows the original color was Desert Sand. This beauty has PS.
PB. and automatic transmission. Body tag plate shows only tinted
glass & remote side mirror as options. This was a radio delete car.
The after-market radio was installed at some point early on with
the original owner. Clock, heat does not work. Judging from
paperwork received with the car, its restoration was done around
2002. New interior, etc. Repaint, engine rebuilt (paperwork shows
rebuild mileage of 53398). Paint remains very nice, showing
beautifully with lots of shine. No rust, Trim is very nice with
only a couple small dings (nothing bad). Chrome bumpers are very
nice/excellent. Interior is clean and a wonderful tobacco color,
vinyl reproduction seat covers, carpet & door panels look original
with some wear but look good and still very usable. Engine runs
great, good power, no smoke. Transmission weeps a little as most
all of these Turbine Dyna Flows do. Runs, drives and handles well.
Current mileage is 64,264 which translates to just under 11k miles
since restored. Car was originally from Utah & still has the "Built
Expressly For" dash plate w/ orig. owners name. New parts added
within the last 1-2 years include: Front disk brake conversion. 2"
front & 1" rear Lowering Springs. 17" American Torque Thrust Wheels
(17"x7" & 17"x8") 17" Kumho Tires(215/50R17 & 245/50R17)
PST(Performance Susp. Tech. ) new front end kit includes Tie Rods,
Ball Joints, Bushings, Shaft Kit, Rear Track Bushing and more...
This is a rare car, these Buick's are often forgotten about. Be
different, stand out from the mainstream cars everyone has. This
one has style, performance and great presence.
